Recent changes in import regulations by country

or later increased to 25`35. The tariff on used vehicles made 5 year ago or earlier is based on engine displacement. The new tariff system was introduced as a tentative rule for the Corolla , equipped with a 1500cc
`1800cc engine is becoming strong.
Bolivia - As of December 4, 2008, the govemment limited the importation of used vehicles to those made 5 years ago or later (forpassenger cars) and to those made 7 years agoor later (for trucks ). The govemment also placed a ban on the importaion of diesel vehicles having over 4000cc engine.and vahicles powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).as wellas vehicles for which the position of the steering column has been convertedin other countries
Peru -Importation of vehicles made 4 years ago or earlier is prohibited. The conversion of the streering clumn position is not controlled
Dominican Republic -It placed a ban on the importation of right-hand-drive vehicles as of last .December .
Left-hand-drive vehicles can beimported.
